Linda & Mark
Ceremony and Reception at Anstey Hall, Cambridgeshire.
August 2007

"Please accept our sincere thanks for the wonderful
job you did as our on-the-day coordinator for our wedding on 11 August
2007.
Since I work as a Project Manager, I did not need a full service planner,
but could not have done without your services during the week prior and
on the day of the ceremony. Taking over the co-ordination of the vendors
prior to the day allowed me to relax and enjoy my guests who had come
over from the States.
You were amazing in the manner in which you directed the activities on
our wedding day which included a cocktail party, ceremony and dinner
and dancing, but in a most tactful and unobtrusive manner. Your skills
in dealing with everything from a guest who fainted, to a bridesmaid
stung by a bee and to handling the logistics of getting over 150 guests
back to hotels allowed me to enjoy being a bride instead of the one always
in charge."
Linda
Linda is American, and they had numerous guests travelling
from America and Australia for their wedding. With
over 150 guests a venue was needed that was suitably ‘English’ but
also capable of holding large numbers and it was Anstey Hall that won their
hearts. In keeping with American tradition, the drinks reception was held
before the ceremony itself; whilst guests entered the ceremony room, Linda
stole away to her room to change into her ‘wedding gown’. There
followed a sit down dinner in a marquee in the grounds with dancing to
a local band before guests were whisked back to their hotels in a fleet
of taxis. The following day, guests were treated to brunch at a local pub
and then punting on the river Cam.
